THE TRAGEDY OF INDIAN CRICKET N SPORTS

Well, what can one say about the sorry state of Indian Cricket! Every person has his own views and most of them ate influenced by their own prejudices. What surprises me is that in this whole blame game all of us r ready to point out something as the cause of the down fall of Indian Cricket such as THE COACH, THE CAPTAIN, THE SENIOR PLAYERS, THE OTHER PLAYERS,THE SPONSORS, THE ENDORSEMENTS, Blah, blah,.,.,. But we refuse to go to the root causes or the causes of the causes, such as:-

(a) Can any sports flourish in a country where the top sports adminstrators have almost nothing to do with the sports at any level. Have u ever seen any photo of Sharad Pawar, KPS Gill, Suresh Kalmadi or P R Dashmunshi playing any sports? Yet they run our Cricket, Hockey, Athletics and football Organisations respectively.
(b) How can we the gen populace hope to see our team winning when we r ready to go to the streets when somebody from our state, district,neighbourhood, gully, Mohalla or ethnicity is dropped from the team because of non or bad performance.
Let's not fool ourselves folks. We dont really deserve to win and whenever we do win, it's inspite of us , not because of us.
